Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman, Director of the Psychology Department and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research is a professor at University of California Davis. Her name is widely recognized for initiating the modern study of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and also children's witnesses. Professor Goodman who is a prolific author with a wide range of papers and awards to her credit she is also the winner of a variety of international and national awards. She has collaborated with numerous governments and organizations across the world on studies and policy issues pertaining to child people who are victims of the law. She also serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center), of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a part of numerous professional associations, including the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychological Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Professor Goodman is also a member of the Psychonomics Society, the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the President of the America Psychological Association's divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Children and Families policy and practice.
